Coolpad launches budget-range Cool 3 Plus smartphone in India
Taking on the likes of Realme and Xiaomi in the budget-range segment, Coolpad has launched Cool 3 Plus smartphone in India. Starting at just Rs. 5,999, the smartphone offers a waterdrop notched display with HD+ resolution, 13MP rear camera, and entry-level internals. Meanwhile, the smartphone will be up for grabs starting July 2 via Amazon. Here is our roundup.

Up front, the Cool 3 Plus comes with a waterdrop notched display with noticeable bezels around the screen. On the other hand, the glass-finished back houses a single rear-camera, a physical fingerprint sensor, and dual tone gradient finish. Moreover, the smartphone offers a 5.71-inch screen with 1520 x 720 pixels resolution, 19:9 aspect ratio and 295ppi pixel density.
For the shutterbugs and selfie lovers
On the imaging front, the all-new Cool 3 Plus houses a single 13MP rear-camera with an LED flash. The main camera offers photography features such as bokeh mode, time-lapse, and face detection. Up front, it sports an 8MP shooter for selfies.

The Cool 3 Plus is powered by a MediaTek Helio A22 chipset, paired with 2GB/3GB of RAM and 16GB/32GB of expandable storage. Under the hood, it packs a 3,000mAh battery and runs on Android Pie OS. Furthermore, it offers all standard sensors and connectivity options including dual SIMs (Nano), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, micro-USB port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

In India, the Cool 3 Plus starts at Rs. 5,999 for its base-end model with 2GB/16GB configuration and goes upto Rs. 6,499 for its top-end 3GB/32GB variant. At this price point, the smartphone will go up against Redmi 6A and Realme C2 in the country.
