Coolpad A1, Mega 4A introduced as offline exclusives in India
Coolpad has launched two new phones- Coolpad A1 and Coolpad Mega 4A in India. As per the company, both the phones will be sold through offline channels across eight Indian states. The Coolpad A1 will retail at Rs. 5,499 while the Mega 4A will be priced Rs. 4,299. Both the smartphones come in Gold color option. Here's all about them.
Coolpad A1 features a 5-inch HD screen, runs Android Nougat
The dual-SIM Coolpad A1 features a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) display and runs Android 7.1 Nougat. The phone is powered by a 1.1GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 SoC, coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage (expandable up to 64GB). In terms of camera, Coolpad A1 gets an 8-megapixel rear camera sensor with an LED flash and a 5-megapixel selfie shooter.
Coolpad A1 supports 4G VoLTE, packs a 2,500mAh battery
In terms of connectivity and on-board sensors, you get 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS/A-GPS, ambient light sensor and a proximity sensor. The phone also packs 2,500mAh battery that is said to deliver up to 240 hours of standby time.
Coolpad Mega 4A also features a 5-inch display
Similar to the Coolpad A1, the Coolpad Mega 4A also features a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) display and runs Android Nougat 7.1. The smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC9832 SoC, paired with 1GB of RAM. In terms of storage, you get 16GB of inbuilt storage that is expandable via microSD card.
Coolpad Mega 4A packs 2,000mAh battery
The smartphone comes with a 5-megapixel camera sensor on the rear and a 2-megapixel selfie shooter. Moreover, the smartphone comes with a 2,000mAh battery that is said to deliver up to 150 hours of standby time.
Coolpad plans to establish itself in India's offline market
"We are also planning to introduce few more aggressive offline devices in next 2-3 months ...We are expecting that Coolpad will be able to make a strong presence in the offline market by the end of 2018," said Syed Tajuddin, CEO, Coolpad India.
