Computex 2019: ASUS unveils new 2019 ZenBook laptops
In the ongoing Computex, Taiwanese electronics giant ASUS has unveiled its updated ZenBook line-up with ZenBook 13, ZenBook 14, and ZenBook 15 laptops. The new models retain the design of their predecessors while sporting a new ScreenPad 2.0 touchscreen trackpad and upgraded graphics support. Additionally, the company has also introduced a ZenBook Edition 30 model with genuine leather design. Here's our roundup.
ASUS ZenBook Edition 30 (UX334FL)
The ASUS ZenBook 30 Edition offers a 13.3-inch full-HD display with a hand-stitched Italian leather design in pearl white finish. It is powered by upto an 8th-Gen Intel Core i7-8565U processor, coupled with upto 16GB of RAM, upto 1TB PCIe Gen 3.0 storage, and 2GB NVIDIA GeForce MX150 GPU. Under the hood, there's a 50Wh 3-cell lithium-polymer battery which offers upto 14-hours of use.
ASUS ZenBook 13 (UX334)
The ASUS ZenBook 13 features a 13.3-inch full-HD display with 178-degree viewing angle and 95% screen-to-body ratio. It is backed with upto 8th-Gen Intel Core i7-8565U processor, combined with upto 16GB RAM, upto 1TB of SSD and Intel UHD 620 or 2GB NVIDIA GeForce MX250 GPU. The laptop also offers a 3D infrared HD camera, dual-band gigabit Wi-Fi, and upto 14-hours of battery life.
Asus ZenBook 14 (UX434)
The ZenBook 14 laptop comes with a 14-inch full-HD display with 178-degree viewing angle and 92% screen-to-body ratio. Under the hood, it packs upto 8th Gen Intel Core i7-8565U processor, paired with upto 16GB RAM, upto 1TB of SSD and 2GB NVIDIA GeForce MX250 GPU.
ASUS ZenBook 15 (UX534)
The premium ASUS ZenBook 15 comes with a 15.6-inch display with 4K or full-HD resolution options. It is powered by upto 8th-Gen Intel Core i7-8565U processor, coupled with upto 16GB RAM, upto 1TB PCIe 3.0 SSD, and a 4GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 graphics card with Max-Q design. Under the hood, it packs a 71Wh 8-cell battery which offers around 15-hours of battery life.
All 2019 models also feature ScreenPad 2.0 touchscreen trackpad
All the 2019 ZenBook model mentioned above come with ScreenPad 2.0 - an upgraded version of the display-embedded touchscreen trackpad. It works similar to Apple's TouchBar, offering adaptive functions and quick access to menus, calculator, and music control, among other utilities.
