China-based Homtom enters India with H1, H3, H5 smartphones
Debuting in the world's fastest-growing smartphone market, China-based Homtom has launched its H1, H3, and H5 smartphones in India. All three smartphones come with 64-bit MediaTek processors, dual rear cameras, face unlock technology and run Android Oreo 8.1. Product #1: Homtom H1, At a glance
The Homtom H1 gets a 5.5-inch HD+ (640x1280p) Incell display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The phone is powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek chipset, paired with 2GB RAM, 16GB of internal storage (expandable via microSD card) and 3,000mAh battery. The H1 sports a 13MP+2MP dual lens setup on the back along with an LED flash and an 8MP front camera with face unlock feature.

The Homtom H3 sports a 5.5-inch HD+ (720x1440 pixels) Incell display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and metal unibody design. The phone gets a 1.3GHz MediaTek processor, paired with 3GB RAM, 32GB of onboard storage (expandable via microSD card) and a 3,500mAh battery. The H3 gets the same camera setup as H1 - a 13MP+2MP dual rear-camera and an 8MP selfie snapper.
Product #3: What is Homtom H5 offering?
The Homtom H5 features a 5.5-inch HD+ (720x1440 pixels) display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The phone runs on a 1.3GHz MediaTek processor, paired with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage (expandable via microSD card). The H5 bears a 16MP+2MP dual rear-camera setup along with an 8MP front camera. Under the hood, the phone packs a 3,300mAh battery with support for fast charging technology.
All three phones get identical connectivity options
All three Homtom devices, the H1, H3 and H5, support dual-SIM (Nano) cards, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS, and a micro-USB port. Notably, the H1 and H5 come with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor while the Homtom H3 bears front-mounted fingerprint sensor (on the bottom bezel). Lastly, all the three phones run stock Android Oreo 8.1 out-of-the-box.
Pricing and Availability
The entry-level Homtom H1 comes at Rs. 7,490, the mid-spec Homtom H3 is priced at Rs. 9,990, while the top-end Homtom H5 will cost Rs. 10,990. The Homtom H1 and H5 are offered in Black and Gold color options, whereas the Homtom H3 comes in Black, Silver, and Blue variants. All the three phone will be available for purchase via retail stores across India.
