ChatGPT's free tier now lets you create images: Here's how
What's the story
OpenAI has expanded the capabilities of ChatGPT's free tier, by allowing users to generate up to two images daily using the DALL-E 3 model.
This announcement marks an extension of a feature, previously exclusive to paid ChatGPT Plus users since DALL-E 3's launch in September.
The rollout is currently underway with some users already having access to this new feature.
You can ask ChatGPT to create an image mentioning the subject or show you what something looks like.

DALL-E 3's enhanced image creation feature
A significant improvement in DALL-E 3 is its ability to enable ChatGPT to generate a prompt for image creation, simplifying the process.
This feature was showcased last year by Aditya Ramesh, the lead researcher and head of the DALL-E team.
Ramesh used ChatGPT to help him design a logo for a mountain-based ramen restaurant, resulting in four unique logo options produced by DALL-E.
