Caviar's new $12,000 iPad Pro pays homage to Deadpool, Wolverine
Dubai-based luxury device manufacturer, Caviar, has unveiled a limited edition Criss-Cross iPad Pro 2024. This custom iPad is a part of the company's Desperado collection and features a design inspired by popular characters Deadpool and Wolverine. The rear panel showcases two Desert Eagle Mark XIX guns forming an 'X,' symbolizing Deadpool, while the surrounding claws are reminiscent of Wolverine. Both these popular characters are set to star in the upcoming Deadpool & Wolverine movie releasing in July.
Take a look at design elements
The design intricacies of the Criss-Cross iPad Pro extend beyond its character-inspired exterior. Caviar has revealed that the Desert Eagle Mark XIX composition on the Criss-Cross "is pierced by blades made of hardened titanium in black." The panel surrounding these guns is adorned with 24K gold. The tablet's case itself is crafted from titanium and employs PVD-plated tech, which is commonly used in luxury Swiss watches.
Limited production and pricing
Caviar intends to produce only 99 units of this exclusive Criss-Cross iPad Pro. The tablet will be available in both 11" and 13" sizes, offering Wi-Fi and cellular connectivity. Storage options for both versions range from 256GB to a massive 2TB. The starting price for the smaller variant is set at $12,200 (nearly ₹10,18,650) while the larger model begins at $12,630 (around ₹10,54,550).
