These Rs. 23,000 worth earphones from Bose can't play music
Months after the global unveiling, Bose has introduced Sleepbuds in India for Rs. 22,900. Measuring at 1 centimeter and weighing just 1.4 grams, these Sleepbuds are the smallest Bose product ever made. With proprietary noise-masking technology, these wireless earbuds block unpleasant noises to offer better sleep. Pretty ironically though, they do not support music streaming. Here's our roundup.
Bose Sleepbuds: At a glance
The Sleepbuds feature new patented ear tips that are claimed to offer a snug and barely-felt fit. Moreover, in a minuscule form-factor, they pack a rechargeable battery, a transducer, and a micro-circuit board with flash memory to store noise-masking sound files. The earbuds last up to 16 hours on a single charge along with the charging case holding an additional 16 hours of charge.
How do Sleepbuds work?
Bose Sleepbuds, with their patented ear-tips and sound-masking technology, block unwanted sound. Further, they come with 10 pre-loaded "sleeptracks" that mirror frequencies of your ambience and hide them underneath a layer of relaxing audio such as gentle waves and wind turbines. Sleepbuds are compatible with both Android and iOS via Bose Sleep app that allows various customizations and features like an alarm.
Availability in India
As stated before, Sleepbuds cost Rs. 22,900 in India. They will be available across official Bose stores, Bose India online store, Amazon, and Flipkart starting September 20.
