    What's the story

    Expanding its smartwatches' portfolio in India, lifestyle and consumer tech giant boAt is out with its latest budget-friendly wearable, the BOAT Xplorer.

    Priced at Rs. 2,999, the Xplorer comes with a built-in GPS, a 24x7 heart-rate tracker, and switchable sweat-resistant straps.

    The smartwatch joins the existing wearables, BOAT Storm, Flash, and Enigma, all valued under Rs. 3,000.

    Design

    The Xplorer offers personalized Cloud Watch Faces

    The BOAT Xplorer features a square-shaped dial, metal body, a 5ATM sweat and water-resistance design, silicone straps, personalized Cloud Watch Faces, and a side-mounted crown for controlling the UI.

    The wearable bears a 1.3-inch HD (240x240 pixels) 2.5D curved glass display.

    It is offered in three strap colors, namely, Pitch Black, Gray, and Orange Fusion (blue with orange stripe).

    Internals

    It comes with an in-built GPS sensor

    The BOAT Xplorer packs a 210mAh battery with magnetic charging. It promises a working life of up to 10 days and a standby time of up to 30 days.

    For connectivity, it offers support for Bluetooth 4.2 with a 10M range and a built-in GPS sensor that can track your routes and enable maps on your wearable.

    It lets you explore eight sports modes

    The BOAT Xplorer brings a range of features including live weather forecasts, a 24x7 heart-rate monitor, Breathe mode, and a smart activity tracker that records calorie burns, steps, and distance.

    It also boasts of eight activity sports modes, like running, cycling, swimming, etc. along with menstrual cycle tracking.

    You can also control music and receive notification alerts for calls, messages, and social media.

    BOAT Xplorer: Pricing and availability

    The BOAT Xplorer costs Rs. 2,999 in India and is already up for grabs via boAt's official website and Flipkart. The company also offers a one-year warranty on the wearable. Notably, the official store mentions that the sale will end on April 19.
