What's the story
Truecaller has a feature that lets it automatically update the top spammers list, ensuring users get the best protection against annoying spam calls.
This guide shows you how to enable it on your Android device. It's super easy!
By doing this, you'll always have the freshest spam protection, keeping those pesky new spam callers at bay.
Setup blocking
Enable auto-block and set protection level
Once you have installed Truecaller and given it the appropriate permissions, click on your profile icon, and navigate to "Settings" > "Manage Blocking."
There are three protection levels to choose from: Off, Basic, and Max.
Basic blocks high risk spammers and provides offline protection. Max is available for Truecaller Premium subscribers and blocks all spam or fraud calls.
Update spammers
Activate auto-update for top spammers
To ensure you have Basic or Max protection in Truecaller, it's important to activate auto-update for top spammers.
Navigate to Settings > Manage Blocking to verify your protection level.
While Premium users receive spam list updates automatically, Non-Premium users need to update manually. Visit Block Settings > Update now to manually update.
This guarantees protection against new spammers, allowing for secure calls and worry-free communication.
