Blinkit, a leading quick commerce platform, has launched a new service offering fast delivery of passport-sized photos. The service is initially available in Delhi and Gurugram, with plans for expansion elsewhere based on customer feedback. Albinder Dhindsa, CEO of Blinkit, announced that customers can now receive their passport-sized photos at their doorstep within just 10 minutes.
A solution for last-minute photo needs
The new service aims to eliminate the need for last-minute trips to photo studios. Customers can order passport photos through the Blinkit app, where they can upload and customize their images. The app also offers an AI-enhance service for images and allows users to crop or rotate their pictures. Multiple photos can be added to a single order.
Service will be gradually rolled out to other cities
Photo service caters to various size requirements
Blinkit's new service caters to various photo size requirements, including standard size, Indian passport, US visa, UK visa, and Schengen visa formats. The service starts at ₹99 for eight photos with additional charges for delivery. Other pricing options include 16 photos for ₹148 and 32 photos for ₹197. This wide range of sizes and affordable pricing, makes it a convenient option for customers needing passport-sized photos in different formats.
Blinkit addresses privacy concerns
Addressing privacy concerns, Blinkit assures customers that all uploaded images are deleted post printing. It is important to note the grocery delivery app also offers delivery of printed documents on demand.
