Black Shark 4 series to be launched on March 23
Black Shark's upcoming gaming smartphones, the 4 and 4 Pro, will be launched in China on March 23, the company has announced. As for the key highlights, the handsets are expected to feature a 144Hz screen, triple rear cameras, a flagship chipset, and a 4,500mAh battery with 120W fast-charging support. Here's our roundup.
They will sport an OLED screen
The Black Shark 4 and 4 Pro smartphones will come with a punch-hole design, slim bezels, and an in-display fingerprint sensor for secure biometric authentication. On the rear, they will pack a triple camera unit. The vanilla model will bear a 6.67-inch Full-HD+ OLED screen while the Pro variant will offer a 6.67-inch QHD+ OLED display, both with a 144Hz refresh rate.
Black Shark 4 Pro will flaunt a 108MP main camera
The Black Shark 4 and 4 Pro shall sport a triple rear camera setup comprising a 64MP and 108MP primary sensor, respectively. There will be two other lenses and a single selfie snapper, details of which are unknown as of now.
They will support 120W fast-charging
The Black Shark 4 and 4 Pro will draw power from a Snapdragon 870 and Snapdragon 888 chipset, respectively, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. They will boot Android 11 and pack a 4,500mAh battery with 120W fast-charging support. The devices should also offer support for Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, a headphone jack, and a Type-C port.
Black Shark 4 series: Pricing and availability
Black Shark will announce the official pricing details of the 4 and 4 Pro at the time of launch on March 23. However, given the expected specifications, the line-up will start at around Rs. 40,000.
