Gaming-centric phone Black Shark 2 Pro to launch on July-30

Taking on the recently announced ASUS ROG Phone 2, Xiaomi-backed Black Shark is working to launch the Black Shark 2 Pro in China on July 30.
According to the latest teaser, the upcoming phone, which comes as the sequel to the Black Shark 2, will be powered by the latest gaming-focused Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset.

Everything we know about Black Shark 2 Pro
The Black Shark 2 Pro is confirmed to come with the flagship Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset that is touted to offer industry-leading mobile gaming performance.
Further, the phone will offer 12GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, DC Dimming 2.0 and Liquid Cooling 3.0+ for improved thermal management.
As for the display and body, we expect it to retain Black Shark 2's design.

Black Shark 2 Pro will compete with ROG Phone 2
Evidently, Black Shark 2 Pro will take on the recently unveiled ASUS ROG Phone 2.
The ASUS flagship is one of the most powerful smartphones till date, rocking a Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset, 12GB of RAM, 120Hz OLED display, and 6,000mAh battery.
However, it remains to be seen if Black Shark 2 Pro would get the display and battery upgrades or not.

Meanwhile, what's improved in the Snapdragon 855 Plus?
Coming to Snapdragon 855 Plus, it is clocked at upto 2.96GHz to offer a performance boost of around 4.2% than Snapdragon 855's 2.84GHz clock rate.
It also offers improved gaming performance, thanks to a 15% boost in graphics performance of the Adreno 640 GPU.
Lastly, there is an integrated multi-gigabit Snapdragon X24 LTE modem and the X50 5G modem that will enable 5G connectivity.
