Meet BharatiyaGPT: An AI platform preserving India's ancient heritage
ImmverseAI, a Maharashtra-based AI company, is launching BharatiyaGPT on Independence Day. This innovative platform merges advanced machine learning with deep cultural insights. BharatiyaGPT is designed as more than just an AI platform. It acts as a digital custodian of India's rich and ancient heritage. BharatiyaGPT is built around a custom Large Language Model (LLM), that has been trained on eight billion parameters.
A linguistic marvel built on ancient wisdom
ImmverseAI has developed the entire data pipeline for BharatiyaGPT from scratch, digitizing age-old Indic manuscripts and training AI models on this digital data corpus. The data corpus includes over 50TB of data, encompassing more than 10 lakh manuscripts across 23 languages. This makes BharatiyaGPT one of the world's most linguistically diverse AI systems.
A digital repository of India's diverse knowledge
"BharatiyaGPT is not just an AI; it is a repository of the vast and diverse knowledge that India has contributed to the world over millennia," said R Ramakrishnan, Co-Founder and CEO of ImmverseAI. The platform wants to present a more balanced and inclusive worldview, by incorporating diverse cultural narratives and perspectives from India. This approach challenges the conventional knowledge paradigms that dominate the AI landscape today.
A blend of ancient texts and modern technology
BharatiyaGPT has been built upon a comprehensive Indic dataset derived from ancient texts, manuscripts, and scriptures encapsulating thousands of years of wisdom from revered Indian scholars, rishis, and gurus. This includes insights from texts like the Vedas, Upanishads, Ramayana, Mahabharata, Bhagavad Gita, and various Puranas. ImmverseAI has received recognition for its creation of AI avatars representing iconic maharishis.
ImmverseAI's global recognition and future aspirations
ImmverseAI was the only Indian start-up invited to the Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence (GPAI) to showcase its technological capabilities to PM Narendra Modi. Earlier this year, the firm was awarded the 'Best Use of Conversational AI' at the Global AI Summit and Awards 2024 (GAISA). BharatiyaGPT represents a future where technology and tradition coexist harmoniously. It wants to revolutionize the way we perceive and interact with AI, by making ancient Indian knowledge accessible to everyone, everywhere.
