In a bid to boost sales, Taiwanese tech giant ASUS has reduced the prices of ZenFone Max Pro M1 in India by upto Rs. 1,500. With the latest price revision, the smartphone is now available at a starting price of Rs. 7,999 on Flipkart. The key highlights of the phone include a full-HD+ display, dual rear cameras, 5,000mAh battery, and mid-level internals. Here's more.
First, a look at the new prices
With the recent price cut, the ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M1 is now available at a starting price of Rs. 7,999 (previous price: Rs. 8,499) for its base-end model with 3GB/32GB configuration. Likewise, the mid-end 4GB/64GB model is priced at Rs. 8,999 (previous price: Rs. 10,499) and the top-end 6GB/64GB variant is up for grabs at Rs. 11,999 (previous price: Rs. 12,499).

To recall, the ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M1 sports a conventional rectangular design with sizeable bezels around the screen. On the rear side, the matte-finished panel houses dual cameras, LED flash and physical fingerprint scanner. The phone gets a 5.99-inch LCD display (1080x2160 pixels) with full-HD+ resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. It is available in Black, Blue, and Grey color options.
For the shutterbugs and selfie lovers
The 3GB and 4GB RAM variants of ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M1 sport a dual rear camera setup comprising a 13MP (f/2.2) main sensor and 5MP (f/2.4) depth sensor. These models sport an 8MP (f/2.0) front-facing camera for selfies. The top-end 6GB RAM variant also gets a dual rear camera but with 16MP+5MP sensors. Up front, it houses a 16MP selfie snapper.

The handset is powered by a Snapdragon 636 processor, paired with upto 6GB RAM, and upto 64GB of storage (expandable upto 1TB). Under the hood, it runs stock Android Oreo and packs a massive 5,000mAh battery with 10W fast-charging support. Lastly, the ASUS mid-ranger offers all standard sensors and latest connectivity options including dual SIMs (Nano), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, micro-USB port, and headphone jack.
