ASUS ZenFone Max Pro to be available from July 26
The top-end variant of the ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M1 will go on sale in India starting July 26 via Flipkart. Priced at Rs. 14,999, this variant has 6GB of RAM and better camera specs as compared to the regular ZenFone Max Pro M1. Notably, all other specs of this new model remain same as that of the regular variant. Here's our roundup.
ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M1: At a glance
The ZenFone Max Pro M1 features a tall display with slim top and bottom bezels and a metal unibody casing. On the back, the phones get a fingerprint sensor and vertically stacked dual-rear cameras with LED flash module. The phone features a 5.99-inch full-HD+ (1080x2160 pixels) IPS Full-View display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and will be available in Deepsea Black and Grey colors.
For the shutterbugs and selfie lovers
This top-end ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M1 variant gets a dual lens setup comprising a 16-megapixel primary sensor with f2/.0 aperture and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor. On the front, the phone gets a 16-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture. For comparison, the regular variant sports a 13MP (f/2.2)+5MP (f/2.4) sensors and an 8MP (f/2.0) front camera. All variants support 4K video recording as well.
Connectivity options on the ZenFone Max Pro M1
In terms of connectivity options, the phone gets dual-SIM card support, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n with Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth v4.2 with AptX, GPS/A-GPS, GLONASS, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The ZenFone Max Pro M1 comes with Face Unlock technology as well.

ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M1 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor, paired with 3GB/4GB/6GB (this variant) of RAM, and 32GB/64GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable up to 2TB via microSD card. The phone also packs a massive 5,000mAh battery which supports 10W fast-charging. Moreover, ASUS has offered stock version of Android Oreo 8.1 instead of its ZenUI.

The ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M1 with 3GB RAM/32GB storage is priced at Rs. 10,999 and the 4GB RAM/64GB storage variant comes with a price tag of Rs. 12,999. Now, the upcoming variant with 6GB RAM/64GB storage will cost Rs. 14,999.
