ASUS ZenFone 5Z will launch in India on July 4, and will be sold exclusively via Flipkart. The confirmation has been made by the e-commerce giant which had earlier teased the launch of the smartphone. Much like other 2018 flagship phones, the ZenFone 5Z will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset, paired with an artificial intelligence engine. Here's our roundup.

The ZenFone 5Z features a 6.2-inch full-HD+ (1080x2246 pixels) notch-based display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, paired with an Adreno 630 GPU, 4GB/6GB/8GB of RAM, and 64GB/128GB/256GB of inbuilt storage. It supports dual-SIM (Nano) cards, runs ZenUI5.0 on top of Android 8.0 Oreo and packs a 3,300mAh battery which supports AI-based charging technology.
The phone supports 4G VoLTE and NFC, gets dual-speakers
For connectivity, the ASUS ZenFone 5Z comes with 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11a/c, USB Type-C, Bluetooth v5.0, NFC, GPS/A-GPS, FM radio and 3.5mm headphone jack. Moreover, the phone also gets dual-speakers with dual NXP smart amplifiers and three internal microphones with noise reduction and Hi-Res Audio.

On the rear, the ZenFone 5Z sports a dual camera setup comprising a 12-megapixel Sony IMX363 sensor with f/1.8 aperture and an 8-megapixel secondary sensor with f/2.2 aperture and a soft light LED flash. On the front, the smartphone offers an 8-megapixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture, 84-degree Field of View, and supports Face Unlock.
Pricing: ASUS ZenFone 5Z will compete against the OnePlus 6
While the pricing of ZenFone 5Z is not yet revealed, the phone is expected to take on the recently-launched OnePlus 6. Notably, in Taiwan, the phone comes at a starting price of TWD 14,990 (approx. Rs. 33,700) for the 6GB RAM/64GB variant.
