These ASUS phones have become cheaper in India
Taiwanese tech giant ASUS has reduced the prices of its flagship phones - ASUS 6Z and ASUS 5Z in India by upto Rs. 7,000. With the latest price revision, the former is available at a starting price of Rs. 27,999, while the latter is up for grabs at Rs. 16,999. Notably, the price-cut is permanent and is also reflecting on Flipkart. Here's more.
ASUS 6Z: The mid-range phone with interesting design
The entry-level 6GB/64GB variant of ASUS 6Z has become cheaper by Rs. 4,000 and is available at Rs. 27,999, while the top-variant 8GB/256GB model has received a Rs. 5,000 price-cut and is now selling for Rs. 34,999. The handset sports a 6.4-inch full-HD+ bezel-less screen with no notches, and a rear-mounted fingerprint reader. It also packs Snapdragon 855 processor and a solid 5,000mAh battery.
ASUS 6Z comes with a rotating camera module
In the imaging department, the ASUS 6Z comes with a dual-lens rear camera setup comprising a 48MP (f/1.8) main sensor and a 13MP (f/2.4) ultra-wide-angle sensor. Interestingly, this camera module rotates up to serve as a front-facing camera, offering high-resolution selfies and video recording.
ASUS 5Z: Affordable smartphone, offering high-performance chipset
Similarly, the base-end 6GB/64GB model of ASUS 5Z has become cheaper by Rs. 5,000 and is selling at Rs. 16,999 while its top-tier 8GB/256GB model has received a Rs. 7,000 price-cut and is available at Rs. 21,999. To recall, the last year's flagship handset features a 6.2-inch full-HD+ notched display, metal body, rear-mounted fingerprint reader, a Snapdragon 845 processor and a 3,300mAh battery.
What's the camera like on ASUS 5Z?
In the camera department, ASUS 5Z offers dual rear cameras including a 12MP (f/1.8) main sensor and 8MP (f/2.0) ultra-wide-angle sensor. For the selfie lovers, there is an 8MP (f/2.0) front-facing snapper which also supports 1080p video recording at 30fps.
