Apple Watch Ultra 3 unlikely to launch at today's event
Apple is set to host its 'It's Glowtime' hardware launch event today. However, the much-anticipated third-generation flagship smartwatch, the Watch Ultra 3, may not make an appearance at this event, according to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman. Instead of a new model, Gurman suggests that Apple might introduce a new black color option for the existing Watch Ultra 2 that was revealed last year. This speculation aligns with previous sightings of a similar variant on the US FCC website last year.

Uncertainty surrounds launch of Watch SE (3rd gen)
The launch of the successor to the Apple Watch SE (2nd Generation) also remains uncertain, as per Gurman. Earlier reports had suggested that Apple was preparing to unveil a third-generation Watch SE model designed specifically for younger users. However, this release now seems doubtful.
Watch Series 10 to debut with new health monitoring tool
The Apple Watch Series 10 is still expected to make its debut alongside the new iPhone 16 lineup. It will reportedly offer support for a new health monitoring feature — sleep apnea detection. If the new Ultra model is delayed, it could mean that the Series 10 model might be the only smartwatch that supports this feature for a while.
Expected features and improvements for Series 10
The Watch Series 10 is rumored to feature an edge-to-edge display with a thinner design. However, the design is unlikely to look very different from the previous models. The rumor has it that the two available case sizes could increase to 45mm and 49mm, up from 41mm and 45mm, respectively, to fit in the larger screen. Other than a big display and a thin design, Apple is also expected to bring hardware enhancements under the hood.
