Apple's future product lineup leaked: Foldable iPhones and more
A supposed product roadmap for Cupertino tech giant Apple, covering the years 2023 to 2027, has recently emerged online. The leak, shared by tipster J. Reve (@Revegnus1), hints at several significant releases from the tech giant. This includes foldable iPhones, OLED MacBooks, as well as AR glasses. However, the credibility of this leak is yet to be confirmed.
OLED displays and RAM upgrades
Earlier this year, Apple launched the Vision Pro and iPad models with OLED displays, as indicated in Reve's leaked roadmap. The roadmap also suggests that the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus are due for an upgrade to 8GB of RAM, from their current 6GB configuration. Furthermore, future versions of the iPhone SE are expected, with a potential debut of the iPhone SE 4 in 2025 sporting a 6.1-inch OLED screen and a 48MP primary camera.
2026: A pivotal year for product launches
According to Reve's leaked roadmap, 2026 could be a significant year for Apple. The company is rumored to launch a foldable iPhone with a 6.0-inch cover screen and an 8.0-inch inner display. Additionally, an OLED MacBook and updated versions of the iPad Air and iPad mini, all featuring OLED screens, are expected. An affordable variant of the Vision Pro XR headset might also hit the market in this year.
Potential advancements in AR technology
Reve's roadmap suggests major releases from Apple in 2027, including a foldable 20.0-inch iPad and AR glasses. The AR glasses are rumored to feature 1.4-inch RGB displays using either MicroOLED or MicroLED panels, indicating a potential leap forward in AR technology. However, due to the unverified nature of these leaks, it is advised to approach this information with caution.
