Apple will reportedly introduce the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus (PRODUCT)RED editions today.
The new color is part of the company's partnership with (RED), an advocacy group that is working to eradicate HIV/AIDS in Africa.
Notably, the details about these red iPhone models were spotted in a memo by US carrier Virgin Mobile.

Virgin Mobile memo suggests launch of RED iPhone 8
According to an internal memo distributed to Virgin Mobile employees, the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus (PRODUCT)RED editions should be listed by the carrier today i.e. Monday, April 9.
The memo also highlights that the new models will be available for pre-orders though their availability details are not mentioned.
Further, the memo doesn't mention any information about an iPhone X (PRODUCT)RED.

(RED) is combating HIV/AIDS in eight sub-Saharan countries by preventing the transmission of HIV virus from a mother to her unborn child.
