Apple unveils AirPods 4 with ANC, wireless charging
Apple has introduced its latest generation of wireless earbuds, the AirPods 4, at the "It's Glowtime" event. This launch marks three years since the release of its predecessor. The new model comes with an improved design, Active Noise Cancellation, and wireless charging. The earbuds are powered by the H2 chip, which enhances both playback and call sound quality. It is available for pre-order starting today.
AirPods 4 introduces USB-C and extended battery life
The AirPods 4 now include a USB-C port in the model case, promising up to 30 hours of use on a single charge. The charging case also features a Find My speaker, enabling users to locate their earbuds by triggering the speaker via the "Play Sound" button in the Find My app.
Pricing and availability
The AirPods 4 are available for pre-order from today, with shipping set to begin on September 20. The base model is priced at ₹12,900, while the ANC variant carries a price tag of ₹17,900. These new models are launched alongside an updated version of the AirPods Max.
What about new AirPods Max?
The new AirPods Max come with a Type-C port. They can be pre-ordered today in several new colors including black, blue, purple, and orange for $549 (roughly ₹46,000). The device will be up for grabs starting on September 20.
