The company is known for its premium range consumer electronic products, software, and online services. It was founded in 1976 by Steve Jobs, Ronald Wayne, and Steve Wozniak and the first computer, a hand-built Apple I, was produced. Presently, the company designs, manufactures, and markets products like laptops (Macbook), tablets (iPad), earphones (AirPods), smartwatches (Watch Series), and smartphones (iPhone), among others. It also develops its own operating system, called iOS, MacOS, as well as iPadOS, and custom processors like A-series Bionic chips used in phones.
