Samsung rolls out Android Oreo beta to Galaxy S8, S8+
Samsung has finally launched Samsung Experience 9.0 beta, built on the latest Android 8 Oreo OS, for Galaxy S8 and S8+ users. Samsung stated: "Previously known as TouchWiz, Samsung Experience is based on the Android OS and has expanded beyond the user interface to provide Galaxy users with a consistent and seamless experience across all Samsung mobile software, apps, and services."
No word on the Galaxy Note 8 yet
Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ owners can test out the Experience 9.0 before other Galaxy users. However, the South Korean giant has not revealed any details about when Galaxy Note 8 users can test the Oreo-based custom UI. Also, the company has not mentioned what improvements the Experience 9.0 update will bring to the Galaxy S8 and S8+ smartphones.

How to enroll in the beta program?
To enroll, S8/S8+ users need to register through Samsung Members or Samsung+ apps from the Google Play Store or Galaxy Apps. Users should click on the "New Registration" menu on the app, after which it shows information about Samsung Galaxy Beta Program. After registering, users can check their device settings and search for firmware updates, download, and install it to run Experience 9.0 beta.
Unexpected errors might occur: Samsung
Samsung said beta testers in the US must be using either T-Mobile or Sprint network devices or have unlocked Galaxy S8/S8+ devices with SIMs from these networks. Those in the UK must have unlocked S8, S8+ devices. The company cautioned that unexpected error might occur during testing as the software is in beta. It added the beta program's end date varies by country.
