Want to check deleted WhatsApp messages? Use this app

    What's the story

Want to read deleted messages on WhatsApp? If you are an Android user, the WhatisRemoved+ app can help you do exactly that!

Using your device's notification system, it monitors WhatsApp messages.

It can read your notifications (alerts for all chats must be enabled), copy incoming messages on the app, and display the same even if the sender deletes the message.

    Here's everything to know.

    Setup

Easy to set up, follow instructions

First, download WhatisRemoved+ from the Google Play Store.

Next, give the app permission to access your phone's notifications and files as required.

You can simply follow the prompts on the screen to set up the app easily. You need to enable notification saving for the apps of your choice, including WhatsApp, to get started.

    All-inclusive access to your notifications

The app will automatically retrieve and notify you of any deleted messages in your WhatsApp chats. You can read deleted messages straight from its notification bar.

It can also reportedly retrieve deleted media files like audio clips, though this might not be successful all the time.

"WhatisRemoved+ does not send your information to external servers, they're only on your own phone," the app states.

    Feature

App completely undermines WhatsApp's delete message feature

Initially, WhatsApp users could not delete a message after seven minutes of sending it, but now the time limit has been increased to two days.

Despite the longer time limit, some might delete messages they sent immediately, but WhatisRemoved+ works in such scenarios, too.

However, the sender of deleted messages has no information about their messages getting copied by an app. Privacy threat, anyone?
