    What's the story

Xiaomi's sub-brand Redmi is working to launch a new premium device that will be pitted against the recently launched OnePlus 7-series in the mid-premium segment.

Titled Redmi K20, the "flagship killer" phone will feature an all-screen design achieved by adopting a pop-up selfie camera.

In the latest development, a leak has revealed all the specifications of the upcoming Redmi phone.

    Here's our roundup.

    Redmi K20: At a glance

The Redmi K20 will feature an all-screen design with no notches or display holes for the selfie snapper. In fact, the front-facing camera will be housed in a motorized pop-up unit.

As per the leak, the phone will offer a 6.39-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1080x2340 pixels and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio.

Moreover, an in-screen fingerprint sensor is also on the cards.

    Information

For the shutterbugs and selfie lovers

The Redmi K20 is tipped to sport a triple-lens rear camera comprising a 48MP (f/1.7) main sensor, paired with a 13MP (f/2.4) secondary sensor, and another 8MP (f/2.4) sensor. Up front, the phone is expected to offer a 20MP selfie snapper with f/2.0 aperture.

    Internals

    Under the hood

The upcoming Redmi flagship will be powered by Qualcomm's top-of-the-line Snapdragon 855 chipset. Rumors also point towards 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage on the Redmi K20.

Under the hood, it will house a 4,000mAh battery with support for 27W fast charging.

Notably, the phone also appeared on Geekbench, scoring 3,500 and 11,100 on single-core and multi-core tests, respectively.

    Information

Redmi K20 will launch in India as well

The Redmi K20 will reportedly be launched in China first. However, Xiaomi's India head Manu Kumar Jain has confirmed that it will arrive "soon" in India. Lastly, the phone is tipped to come in Red, Blue, and Carbon Fiber color options.
