Dell has unveiled its premium Alienware x16 R2 gaming laptop in India. The new model is equipped with the latest Intel Core Ultra CPU from X series, significantly enhancing AI capabilities and performance. The Alienware x16 R2 costs ₹2,86,990, and comes in Lunar Silver. It is up for grabs at Dell Exclusive stores, Dell's official website, Amazon, and other designated retail outlets.
The gaming laptop sports a 240Hz display
The Alienware x16 R2 offers a sturdy full metal chassis, made of anodized aluminium and magnesium alloy for increased durability. It features a 16-inch QHD+ display that supports a 240Hz refresh rate, providing an expansive view with its 16:10 aspect ratio. The laptop's performance is another highlight, offering options up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 185H CPU and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 GPU. This potent yet efficient configuration improves battery life by nearly double compared to previous models.
It includes upgraded thermal cooling system
Dell has emphasized thermal management in the Alienware x16 R2, integrating its Cryo-tech technology with Vapor Chamber technology and Element 31 thermal interface material to ensure the laptop stays cool during extended use. The model also offers impressive connectivity options such as Intel Killer 1750 2x2 (to minimize lag, latency, and packet loss), Bluetooth 5.4, and Wi-Fi 7 readiness. The laptop houses a 90Wh battery with 360W fast-charging ability.
The device integrates 1080p webcam, per-key RGB lighting
The Alienware x16 R2 is equipped with a speaker system that includes dual tweeters and four woofers, ensuring crisp and robust sound output.
