Jio launches AI-based brand engagement video platform Jio Interact
Reliance Jio has launched an AI-based brand engagement video platform called Jio Interact. Through it, users can make live video call to celebrities. The first actor to get on board is Amitabh Bachchan, who, starting from May 4, will interact with Jio users anytime during the day to promote his upcoming comedy-drama film "102 Not Out."
Ask Amitabh Bachchan questions through live video call
Users will be able to ask Bachchan questions related to the movie and even book its tickets on the platform through ticketing-partner BookMyShow. This is Jio Interact's first service and can be accessed through the MyJio app by clicking on "Live Video Call." Jio Interact will soon receive new features like video call centers, video catalog, and virtual showrooms.
Such use of AI is a first in the world
The company claims Jio Interact to be the world's first AI-based brand engagement service, which will reposition the way both brands and customers perceive engagement. It goes all out to use full-scale multimedia capability. Through it, brand promotors can reach and leverage Jio's over 186 million subscriber base and another 150 million of smartphone user base.
Jio Interact poised to become largest platform for brand engagement
The AI-based engagement platform works on something called VCBaas (Video Calling Bot as a service). "This unique and innovative service uses a powerful artificial intelligence-based platform to listen to user questions and respond to them in the most appropriate way. In addition, the platform has a unique auto-learning feature that helps improve the answering accuracy," the company statement said.
