Adani Defense & Aerospace, along with the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), has unveiled India's first vehicle-mounted counter-drone system at Aero India 2025.
The state-of-the-art setup was launched by Dr BK Das, Director General (Electronics & Communication System), DRDO.
This is a major step forward in indigenous technology and highlights India's focus on bolstering its defense capabilities.

Advanced features of the machine
The setup comes with advanced sensors for automatic detection, classification, as well as neutralization of drones.
It is integrated onto a single 4x4 vehicle, making it a highly mobile and self-sufficient counter-drone solution.
The system compries a high-energy laser system for precise drone neutralization, SIGINT (Signals Intelligence), a 7.62mm gun for aerial threat engagement, advanced radar, electro-optical sensors, and jammers for real-time target acquisition within 10km.
