Adobe Photoshop Elements, Premiere Elements now come with AI features
Adobe has just dropped its latest consumer-friendly Elements apps: Photoshop Elements 2025 and Premiere Elements 2025. These new versions aim to be easier to use compared to their pro-level siblings, Photoshop Pro and Premiere Pro. The updated apps come packed with advanced artificial intelligence (AI) features that boost their capabilities. They are meant for people who don't want to learn pro-level graphic designing or video-editing.
Photoshop Elements introduces AI-powered Remove feature
Photoshop Elements now packs a cool new AI-powered Remove feature. This tool is kind of like what you see in professional Photoshop, Google's Magic Eraser, and Apple's Clean-Up tool. With it, you can easily brush over any object, person, or animal in your photo, and poof—it's gone. The software then takes care of the rest by filling in the gap with a fitting background.
New depth blur and color correction features
Along with the Remove feature, Photoshop Elements is rolling out a faux portrait mode called Depth Blur. This lets users pick a focal point in a photo, and then Adobe's AI adds a blur effect to give it a depth-of-field look, similar to what you'd get with a wide-aperture lens. Plus, there's a new color correction tool that lets you select a part of a photo, and pick a new color from a handy pop-up dial.
What does Premiere Elements offer?
Adobe's new Premiere Elements, aimed at everyday users, has rolled out some cool new features. You can now find a white balance tool and color LUTs (lookup tables) that make color curves and presets super easy to use. Plus, the app's timeline has been revamped for smoother navigation and editing. And if you're into titles, you'll love the dynamic options with extra text controls, plus you can use Adobe Stock title templates without paying anything extra.
Adobe Elements apps fully support Apple's M3 chip
Photoshop Elements 2025 and Premiere Elements 2025 are both totally in sync with Apple's M3 chip, which means they're gonna run super smoothly on Mac computers. Plus, there are lighter versions of these apps for web and mobile, so you can edit on the fly. This means you can use these awesome tools on different platforms, making your editing experience even better.
