2019 Kawasaki Ninja 1000 launched for Rs. 9.99 lakh
India Kawasaki Motors (IKM) has introduced the 2019 model of the Ninja-1000'>Kawasaki Ninja 1000 in India and its bookings are now open at Kawasaki dealers across the country. Priced at Rs. 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), the 2019 Ninja 1000 gets minor cosmetic upgrades but no mechanical changes when compared to the outgoing model. Here's our roundup.
2019 Kawasaki Ninja 1000: At a glance
The Kawasaki Ninja 1000 gets chin spoilers and comes with dual LED headlights. It is assembled in India at the company's Pune Plant and will be offered in two colors - black and green. The superbike also comes with assist and slipper clutch, Kawasaki intelligent ABS, and is tuned to offer sufficient low and mid-range torque.
2019 Ninja 1000 retains the same engine as its predecessor
The 2019 Kawasaki Ninja 1000 is powered by a 1,043cc, 16-valve, in-line four, liquid-cooled engine that produces maximum power of 140bhp at 10,000rpm and a peak torque of 111Nm at 7,300rpm. The bike gets a three-mode Kawasaki Traction Control which offers enhanced stability on slippery surfaces. The new Ninja 100 comes with a 19-liter fuel tank and has a kerb weight of 239 kg.
