    What's the story

The 2019 Aston Martin Vantage, expected to arrive in India later this year, will be offered at a starting price of Rs. 2.95 crore, according to CarAndBike.

The all-new Vantage, inspired by the company's DB10 concept, was globally unveiled in November last year.

The two-seater supercar gets some mechanical and design changes to make it faster and lighter than the outgoing model.

    Here's more.

    Exteriors

2019 Aston Martin Vantage: At a glance

In terms of styling, the all-new Vantage looks more like a sports car than a grand tourer.

Up front, the Vantage gets sleeker headlamps, signature gaping grille, and a bulging clamshell hood.

On the back, the diffuser houses a narrow strip of LED lights which are connected to the central light unit.

The 2019 Vantage weighs 1,530kg and has a claimed 50:50 weight distribution.

    Interiors

    Inside the cabin

Inside, the two-seater cabin gets a host of improvements in terms of design and technology.

Aston has offered Mercedes-Benz electronic architecture along with some DB11 reminiscent features such as the instrument cluster, touch-sensitive pad and rotary knob positioned on the center console.

Further, leather upholstery and carbon fiber adorn the sporty two-tone interiors which can be customized as per your taste.

    Engine and power

    Under the hood

The 2019 Vantage is powered by a Mercedes-AMG sourced 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine and is the first Aston Martin car to come equipped with e-differential.

The motor, mated to an 8-speed ZF automatic gearbox, generates 503bhp at 6,000rpm and a peak torque of 685Nm from 2,000-5,000rpm.

Further, the car can accelerate from 0-100kmph in 3.5 seconds and has a claimed top speed of 315kmph.
