2018 Honda Jazz Facelift to launch on July 19
Honda Cars India Limited is all set to launch the much-anticipated Honda Jazz facelift edition in India on July 19. This model, first introduced at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show, gets some prominent changes in the exteriors and interiors, along with added features. In India, the refreshed Honda hatchback will take on the likes of Maruti Suzuki Baleno and Hyundai Elite i20. Here's more.
2018 Honda Jazz facelift: At a glance
On the outside, the Jazz facelift sports an all-new front bumper with larger air intakes, new fog lamp housings, and 'Solid Wing Face' headlights. Other visual updates include a new grille, redesigned alloy wheels, and new tail lamps. The Jazz facelift edition will be offered in 5 colors- Radiant Red, Lunar Silver, Orchid White, Golden Brown and Modern Steel.

According to leaks, the Honda Jazz facelift edition will be launched in V and VX options with the petrol engine model and in S, V, and VX trims with the diesel engine variant. Notably, each variant will get different features in the cabin.
Everything about the Honda Jazz variants
The top-end VX variant comes with a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system which supports Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, and steering mounted controls. The mid-end V variant comes with engine Start/Stop button, keyless entry, automatic climate control, a rear-view camera and a 5-inch infotainment system. The base S variant gets a 3.5-inch screen infotainment system, steering mounted controls, tilt-adjustable steering, and rear parking sensors among others.
Under the hood
The 2018 Jazz facelift will be available with 1.2-litre petrol and the 1.5-litre diesel engines. The 1.2-litre petrol motor generates 89bhp and a peak torque of 110 Nm and comes mated to a 5-speed manual or a CVT option with paddle shifters. The 1.5-litre diesel engine produces 99bhp of power and 200Nm of torque and comes only with manual transmission.
