Amazon-exclusive 10.or D2 launched in India, starts at Rs. 6,999
China-based 10.or (pronounced Tenor) has launched the D2 smartphone in India. 10.or D2 comes at a starting price of Rs. 6,999 and will be sold exclusively via Amazon, starting August 28 (for Prime members, the sale starts on August 27). The key features of this budget smartphone are its 5.45-inch display, upto 3GB of RAM, 13-megapixel rear camera, and Snapdragon 425 chipset. Here's more.
Design and Display
The 10.or D2 features a dated design with thick bezels on the top and bottom and narrow bezels on the sides. The phone sports a 5.45-inch HD+ (720x1440 pixels) LTPS display with 400-nits of brightness and an aspect ratio of 18:9.
For the shutterbugs and selfie lovers
On the back, 10.or D2 features a single 13-megapixel (f/2.0) Sony IMX258 sensor with PDAF and single tone LED flash. The primary camera comes with HDR, low light enhancement, Beautify, and Panorama features. Up front, the phone gets a 5-megapixel (f/2.0) selfie camera with single tone flash. The selfie camera comes with features such as Selfie Countdown, Beautify, and Face Detection.
Under the hood
The 10.or D2 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor clocked at 1.4GHz, coupled with Adreno 308 GPU, 2GB/3GB RAM and 16GB/32GB of internal storage which is expandable upto 128GB. The phone runs stock Android Oreo 8.1 and packs a 3,200mAh battery.
Connectivity options and sensors onboard the phone
In terms of connectivity options on the 10.or D2, you get support for dual-SIM (Nano) cards, VoLTE, VoWi-Fi, ViLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 4.2, Micro-USB port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Sensors onboard the phone include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, digital compass, gyroscope, and proximity sensor.
Pricing and Availability
10.or D2 costs Rs. 6,999 for the 2GB RAM/16GB storage variant and Rs. 7,999 for the 3GB RAM/32GB storage model. It is available in Beyond Black and Glow Gold colors. The phone will be up for purchase starting August 27 for Amazon Prime members while non-Prime customers will be able to buy the phone starting August 28.
