Apple's 10.2-inch iPad (2019) goes on sale in India
Apple's latest budget-friendly iPad has gone on sale in India. The 7th-generation model is now available via major online sales channels like Flipkart and Amazon and Apple authorized retail stores. The 2019 iPad replaces the entry-level 9.7-inch model with a slightly larger screen and support for a smart keyboard as well as Apple Pencil. Here's our roundup.

The 10.2-inch iPad Wi-Fi model costs Rs. 29,900 for the 32GB model and Rs. 37,900 for the 128GB variant. If you're looking for the Wi-Fi+Cellular model, you'll have to pay Rs. 40,900 and Rs. 48,900 for the 32GB and 128GB configurations, respectively. You can avail an extra 10% discount via SBI credit cards and ICICI debit/credit cards when buying through Flipkart or Amazon, respectively.
iPad (2019): Design and display
The iPad (2019) looks pretty much like its predecessor featuring a rectangular display with thick bezels on the top and bottom, and an aluminum chassis. It comes equipped with Touch ID, Lightning connector, Smart Connector (for keyboards), and a headphone jack. The 7th-generation iPad sports a 10.2-inch touchscreen with 2160x1620 pixels resolution at 264ppi, along with support for 1st-generation Apple Pencil.
The 2019 iPad offers a single 8MP rear camera
The 2019 iPad offers a single 8MP (f/2.4) rear camera with support for Live Photos, HDR, 1080p video recording at 30fps, and 720p slo-mo video at 120fps. On the front, it has a 1.2MP selfie snapper which supports HD FaceTime calling.
Under the hood
The 2019 iPad is powered by the same A10 Fusion chip we saw on last year's 9.7-inch model, paired with 32GB/128GB of non-expandable storage. As for battery performance, it is touted to offer upto 10 hours of battery life. The new iPad runs on iPadOS and comes equipped with stereo speakers, dual-band Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, and Nano-SIM/eSIM support.
