For dinner with Yogi, Dalit family asked to 'keep-it-simple'
As part of BJP's 'Gram Swaraj Abhiyaan', which was launched by PM Narendra Modi on Ambedkar Jayanti, UP CM Yogi Adityanath will dine at a Dalit's house in village Kadhai Madhupur under Patti assembly segment of Pratapgarh, reports HT. The CM will spend another night at Mehndipur village of Amroha on April 26. The hosts have been asked to stay away from lavish celebrations.

The BJP leaders were asked to spend two nights, from April 14 to May 5, at Dalit-dominated villages. PM Modi made this decision days after Dalits led nation wide protest, agitated over the dilution of the SC/ST Act.
Dinner with Yogi Adityanath: What's on the menu
A BJP leader said the hosts have been told to not prepare any delicacies as the CM prefers simple food. "Only 10 people will have dinner with him and it has been emphasized that the Dalit family isn't unduly burdened due to the VIP visit," he was quoted. Adityanath is also expected to visit an OBC villager's, likely a Yadav, house.
CM will stay in schools, hold 'gram chaupals' during visit
Reportedly, CM Adityanath will hold 'gram chaupals' (local meetings) with villagers during his visits to both the villages. In Pratapgarh, he will stay at a higher secondary school and in Amroha at a school run by RSS.
Before Yogi, Keshav Prasad Maurya ate with Dalits
Before Yogi Adityanath, Keshav Prasad Maurya had lunch at Bankey Lal Diwakar's house in Etawah. Diwakar is a booth level party cadre and said no special arrangements were made for Maurya. UP minister Ashutosh Tandon 'Gopal' was captured taking a bath at Barah village, Ambedkarnagar on Sunday. All ministers of the Yogi Adityanath cabinet have been directed to dine at Dalit and OBC homes.
