UP CM Yogi Adityanath, Haryana CM celebrated Holi in Barsana
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday celebrated the festival of colors Holi along with Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar in Barsana. Adityanath, who is in Mathura, said that the government would leave no stone unturned to ensure international recognition to the Latthmaar Holi of Barsana. Speaking at the Rangotsav-Lathmar occasion, the UP chief minister expressed his commitment to developing "Brij bhumi".
Promoting tourism in Uttar Pradesh
"A provision of Rs. 100 crore has been made in the budget for Braj Tirth Vikas Parishad," CM Adityanath said, adding that there would be no dearth of funds for the development of the religious places - Radhakund, Nandgaon, Gokul, Vrindavan, and Barsana. The chief minister further said that his government was committed to promoting tourism in the state.

After paying obeisance at the Sri Krishna Janmasthan temple, Adityanath said, "I am a devout Hindu and everybody has the right to express his faith." "I would continue to hold such programmes in future also, as I am proud of my tradition," he added. The chief ministers of both the states also inaugurated UP's largest dung gas plant in Barsana.
