Kumaraswamy doesn't have faith in Congress, claims Yeddyurappa
BJP Karnataka President BS Yeddyurappa today accused the state Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy of "arrogant and authoritative behavior", claiming he didn't seem to have faith in Congress, the coalition partner of JD(S). He questioned Kumaraswamy for not allowing Deputy CM G Parameshwara from Congress to speak in his maiden press conference. "It indicated his lack of camaraderie towards the coalition partner," he said.
Kumaraswamy's remark against Lingayat pontiff is surprising
"In addition, his (Kumaraswamy's) behavior with a sober politician like Parmeshwara was an insult to the political community itself," Yeddyurappa claimed. He said Kumaraswamy's remark against Lingayat pontiff Panditaradhya Shivacharya Swamiji, asking the latter not to poke his nose in politics was "unfortunate and unwarranted". "Such derogatory-remarks from him on the first day of his becoming CM are both surprising and shocking," he added.
Kumaraswamy's comments hurt the feelings of crores of followers
"Kumaraswamy's comments about Swamijis who are a guiding spirit for the people are in poor taste and had hurt the feelings of crores of followers and disciples. His remarks exposed his bent of mind besides indicating his 'arrogance of power'," Yeddyurappa claimed.
