VP Dhankhar admitted to AIIMS after chest pain, condition stable
What's the story
Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar was admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi, early on Sunday morning after he complained of chest pain and uneasiness.
The 73-year-old politician was rushed to the hospital around 2am due to heart-related issues.
He is presently being treated in the Critical Care Unit (CCU) by Dr Rajiv Narang, Head of the Department of Cardiology at AIIMS.

According to sources, Vice President Dhankhar's condition is stable after a stent was successfully implanted. He is now being closely monitored by doctors at AIIMS.
Union Minister and senior BJP leader J.P. Nadda reportedly visited the hospital to check on his condition.
