Divya Spandana, the social media head of Congress, has rubbished reports which stated she has resigned or been sacked.
An ET report said Divya called the rumors silly and also brushed reports which claimed she might join BJP.
The rumors were fueled after Divya briefly changed her Twitter bio and removed the social media designation of Congress.

Divya who is credited for revamping Congress's social media, has been embroiled in controversies lately.
The actress turned politician was accused of ignoring sexual harassment charges in her team.
Quite recently, she shared a morphed picture of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, calling him 'chor' (thief), which led to a sedition case being slapped on her. A complaint was filed with UP Police.
Absenteeism
Divya's absenteeism from work and meetings hinted all's not well
An NDTV report said some Congress leaders felt Divya's thief tweet was in bad taste and went a little overboard.
The report also claimed Divya didn't turn up for work for three days and hadn't communicated with her team.
She was also absent from party's leadership meeting in Wardha in Maharashtra, which was the first meeting outside Delhi after 2013, hence was crucial.
Fallout
Nikhil Alva handling RaGa's Twitter miffed Divya, said reports
Further, reports that Congress veteran Margaret Alva's son Nikhil Alva is handling Rahul Gandhi's Twitter handle, which could have led to fallout.
When contacted by NDTV, Alva didn't say Divya has quit but added, "I can't comment on rumors, I am abroad".
At the time of press, Divya's Twitter bio again read: Actor, Former Member of Parliament, currently handling Social Media & Digital Communications for the Congress party.
