Protest message
Maliwal criticizes Kejriwal's handling of Delhi's cleanliness
The Rajya Sabha MP also pointed out complaints of women in Vikaspuri about a constant garbage dump on their road even after reporting it several times.
She accused Kejriwal of being out of touch with the city's issues, saying he has lost his connection with the common man and is unaware of Delhi's ground reality.
However, she clarified her protest wasn't targeted against any political party but was a means to highlight the poor state of Delhi.
City's condition
'Delhi is in a bad state': Maliwal
Maliwal was later detained by the police after she dumped garbage outside Kejriwal's residence.
While being escorted to the police van, she said that the whole city has turned into a garbage bin.
"I came here to have a conversation with Arvind Kejriwal... I would say to him 'sudhar jao warna janata sudhaar degi'... I am neither afraid of his goons nor his police..."
Assault case
She had accused Kejriwal's aide of assault
Although a member of the AAP, Maliwal and her party haven't been on good terms since last May after she accused Kejriwal's aide Bibhav Kumar of assaulting her.
In her complaint, she alleged that Kumaar slapped her multiple times, kicked her, and attempted to disrobe her during an encounter at the CM's residence.
Following her complaint, Kumar was arrested.
The AAP had termed the allegations levelled by her against Kejriwal's aide "baseless."
