Congress leader Sonia Gandhi was discharged from New Delhi's Sir Ganga Ram Hospital on Friday.
She was admitted to the hospital on Thursday morning after complaining of stomach-related issues.
After a routine check-up, her condition stabilized, and she was kept under observation before being discharged.
The hospital confirmed her admission at 8:30am on Thursday in an official statement.
Health impact
Gandhi's health concerns lead to reduced political activity
"She was admitted today for some abdomen-related issue. However, there is no major concern and in all likelihood she will be discharged by tomorrow morning," according to Dr .Ajay Swaroop, chairman- Board of Management, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital.
Gandhi, who celebrated her 78th birthday in December 2024, was last seen in public during the Rajya Sabha Budget session last week.

Her health has been a concern for a while now, resulting in her reduced political activities.
She did not contest the Lok Sabha elections last year. Her son Rahul Gandhi contested and won her former seat in Rae Bareli instead.
In September 2024, Gandhi was admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital with a mild fever. She had another hospital visit in March 2024 due to ill health.
