Shah Rukh-lookalike campaigns for Congress candidate, BJP calls it 'scam'
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has accused the Congress of deploying questionable tactics to win votes after videos of Shah Rukh Khan lookalike campaigning for a Congress candidate in Solapur, Maharashtra, surfaced. According to reports, the SRK doppleganger was campaigning for Congress candidate Praniti Shinde. BJP national spokesperson Shehzad Poonawala labeled the incident a "scam" in a social media post, criticizing the audacious tactics of the Congress party.
Lookalike's identity possibly Ibrahim Qadri
While the identity of the SRK lookalike remains unconfirmed, some reports suggest it was Ibrahim Qadri. Qadri is famous as SRK's doppelganger and has a massive fan following on social media. Qadri gained popularity following the release of SRK's film Raees. In the viral video, he is seen waving to crowds from a vehicle adorned with the Congress banners featuring images of Rahul Gandhi and Shinde, among other leaders.

Solapur election features Shinde, Ram Satpute
Shinde, daughter of former Union minister and ex-Maharashtra chief minister Sushil Kumar Shinde, is currently an MLA for Solapur City Central. She has been nominated by the Congress party for the Lok Sabha. The BJP has put forward Ram Satpute as their candidate against Shinde. Satpute is also an incumbent MLA of Maharashtra, representing the Malshiras seat. The Solapur election is scheduled for May 7 in its third phase.
Where is the real SRK
The real SRK was last seen at the Eden Gardens Stadium in Kolkata during an Indian Premier League match against the Rajasthan Royals (RR). The Bollywood actor, who is also the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) co-owner, delivered an impassioned speech following his team's narrow 2-wicket defeat to RR at Eden Gardens, despite scoring 223 in the first innings.
