#IndiaDecidesOnDec11: Sachin Pilot scheduled to arrive in Delhi
In Rajasthan, Congress will return to power after sitting in opposition for five years, early trends suggest. As per reports, Congress President of the state, Sachin Pilot, is on his way to Delhi and will reach the party headquarters by 11:30 AM. Vasundhara Raje, who has been ruling the state since 2013, could be shown the exit door. Here's more.
Trends don't seem to favor Raje
At the time of press, Congress+ was leading in 101 seats and BJP in 79. The people of Rajasthan voted for 199 seats on December 7. At Raje's bastion of Jhalrapatan, Congress fielded rebel BJP leader Manvendra Singh, the son of saffron party veteran Jaswant Singh. For the past 20 years, no party has been able to return for a second term in Rajasthan.
