To Modi, with love: RaGa's iconic hug on Congress's poster
The surprise (and headline-inducing) hug of Congress President Rahul Gandhi to Prime Minister Narendra Modi after the speech in Lok Sabha on Friday has found a place on a poster of the grand old party in Mumbai. The poster put up in Andheri reads, 'Nafrat Se Nahi, Pyaar Se Jeetenge' (Not hate, will win with love) and has a picture of the iconic 'hug'.
Question: How will BJP react to this poster?
The surprise hug after speech takes PM and others aback
In his speech, during the no-confidence motion in the Parliament, Rahul Gandhi raised many questions like unemployment, demonetization failures, GST implementation to the PM. He ended his speech by saying, "You may hate me, call me 'Pappu', but I don't hate you", and walked up to the PM to hug him. This unprecedented hug sort of shook Indian politics.
Meanwhile, Modi slams Rahul Gandhi's hug
On Saturday, at Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh, Modi took a jobe at Gandhi's 'unwanted hug' and said it was because the Opposition didn't have a reason to move the no-confidence motion. "We asked the reason for their no-confidence motion, but when they failed to give it, they ended up giving an unwanted hug," Modi said. Reportedly, he used the phrase 'Gale Pad Gaye' for this.

Will RaGa's hug and wink change their fate in elections?
With the hug, Rahul Gandhi certainly displayed a sense of confidence, which was probably washed off after the wink. Although the gestures caught attention, will this translate to votes on the ground, is a pressing concern. After all, NDA did get 325 votes. The Congress and the United opposition need more than just juvenile acts to stall BJP from repeating 2014.
