'Promoted hatred for political gain': Sonia attacks Modi, BJP
Congress leader Sonia Gandhi on Tuesday released a video message accusing Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Bharatiya Janata Party of promoting hatred in the society for political gain. "Today, in every corner of the country, youth are facing unemployment, women are facing atrocities, Dalits, tribals, backward classes, and minorities are facing terrible discrimination," Gandhi said in the message posted on Congress's official X handle. "This atmosphere is due to the intentions of...[PM] Modi and the BJP," she added.
Seeking voters support again: Sonia
In her message Gandhi added that the Congress has "always fought for the progress of all, justice for the deprived and to strengthen the country." She urged voters to lend their support again while highlighting the party's manifesto, "Nyay Patra," promising aid for marginalized communities, farmers, laborers, and empowerment for youth and women. "Vote for Congress for a bright future for all and together let us build a strong and united India," she said.

Rahul hits out PM Modi
Gandhi's video message coincided with the ongoing voting for the third phase of Lok Sabha elections in 93 constituencies. While campaigning for the general elections, the Congress has repeatedly asserted that this election is about "preserving the Constitution and safeguarding the rights of tribals, the poor, and the backward." Earlier in the day, the Congress's Rahul Gandhi also hit out at PM Modi earlier, accusing him of intending to transfer tribal-owned "Jal, Jungle, Jameen" to industrialists.
