Priyanka Gandhi down with dengue, shifted to hospital
Priyanka Gandhi, daughter of Congress president Sonia Gandhi, was admitted to hospital on August 23 after she developed fever. But doctors at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in Delhi later diagnosed she is suffering from dengue. Treatment has started. According to Dr DS Rana, SRGH Chairman (Board of Management), Priyanka is recovering. She is now under the care of Dr Arup Basu, chest medicine consultant.
657 dengue cases recorded in Delhi till now
Delhi has recorded 657 cases of dengue till now - 325 from the capital itself and 332 from outside. The highest number of cases have been reported from areas under the South Delhi Municipal Corporation (64). New Delhi Municipal Council has recorded 42 cases.
