'Modi ko chunte...': BJP's poll song features Ram Mandir, G20
Just days ahead of the first phase of the Lok Sabha elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday released a new version of their campaign song, "Modi ko chunte hain." The lyrics highlight India's transformation under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership. The song includes the line, "Sapne nahi haqeeqat bunte, tabhi toh sab Modi ko chunte (We weave reality not dreams...that's why everyone chooses Modi)". This fresh rendition draws attention to Modi's numerous initiatives aimed at different societal groups.
Campaign song highlights key Modi initiatives
The video of the song features several of Modi government's key initiatives, such as the construction of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, the Bharat Mandapam built for the G20 summit in Delhi, and the newly developed Narendra Modi cricket stadium in Ahmedabad. These projects are presented as tangible evidence of India's transformation under Modi's tenure. The video ends with thousands of people coming together to form a giant collage of PM Modi.

Campaign song available in 12 languages
The BJP has announced that the campaign song is available in 12 languages, symbolizing the diverse voices from across India expressing their shared aspirations. The anthem was first introduced at the "First Time Voters Conclave, NaMo Navmatdata Sammelan" in January. On Wednesday, the BJP launched another campaign song-video around PM Modi asserting "Bharat ka beta Modi chala, Bharat ki mann badhne ko (India's son Modi is advancing to increase the pride of India)."
PM Modi appeals for support, criticizes opposition
In recent public gatherings in Uttar Pradesh's Pilibhit and Madhya Pradesh's Balaghat district, Modi has been outlining his administration's accomplishments over the past decade. He has appealed for public support to make "big and historic decisions" if given a third term leading the BJP-dominated National Democratic Alliance government. The PM also criticized the Congress and the Samajwadi Party (SP) for opposing the Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA), attributing it to their "appeasement" politics.
