Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav's younger son, Tejashwi Yadav, on Saturday put an end to speculations about him "going missing" after the party's dismal performance in the Lok Sabha elections. On Twitter, Tejashwi said he had been undergoing treatment for ligament and ACL injury for the past few weeks contrary to the "spicy stories" cooked up by political opponents. Here's more.
Amused to see opponents, media cooking up spicy stories: Tejashwi
"Friends! For last few weeks, I was busy undergoing treatment for my long delayed ligament & ACL injury," Tejashwi wrote on Twitter, explaining the reason behind his absence from public life. "However, I'm amused to see political opponents as well as a section of media cooking up spicy stories," the RJD leader posted, taking a dig at his opponents.
Here's what Tejashwi posted on Twitter
We are very much here; fight is on: Tejashwi
"We are accountable to people who look for a socialist-secular and social justice alternative in us and wish to assure that we are very much here and the fight is on...," Tejashwi assured his followers in another tweet. "Recent developments helped me study, scrutinize, analyze and appraise the things in a different way," he added.

Tejashwi wasn't present on first-day of Bihar Assembly's Monsoon Session
Tejashwi, who is currently the Leader of Opposition in the Bihar Assembly, was also absent on the first day of the Monsoon Session of the state assembly on June 28. Last week, posters announcing a cash reward for those who bring back Tejashwi were put up in Muzaffarpur after he failed to attend an all-party meeting chaired by the Assembly Speaker.
Tejashwi had been missing from public life since May 28
Tejashwi was last seen in public on 28 May at a post-election review meet before resurfacing on Saturday. The review meeting attended by the former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister was held at his mother Rabri Devi's residence to assess the reasons for RJD's poll debacle.
