Congress has been crying conspiracy for quite some time now
Since Chidambaram's dramatic arrest on August 21, Congress has maintained that he has become a victim of political vendetta. The probing agencies, however, have contested this. Opposing his bail pleas in courts, CBI and ED said if he is released, Chidambaram might flee or influence the investigation. On this, the 74-year-old leader recently said that he is "thrilled" to learn these thoughts.
