WB cabinet to expand tomorrow, four faces to be added
The 31-month-old Mamata Banerjee-led TMC government in West Bengal will be expanded tomorrow, and four new faces would be inducted into it, officials said today. The new names to be inducted into the state cabinet were shortlisted yesterday, and sent to the governor today, the state secretariat sources said. The ministers would be sworn in tomorrow by Governor K N Tripathi at the Raj Bhavan in the presence of CM Mamata Banerjee and her cabinet colleagues. Their portfolios would be announced after the swearing in. This is Trinamool Congress' second term in office after winning the 2016 assembly election. The party ended the 34-year-long Left regime in 2011 to start their first term.
